Overview: Most people avoid the book of Revelation because they think it will be too confusing. It is the only book of the Bible that promises a special blessing to those who read it. There are many symbols \u2013 some are fairly easy to understand and some are more difficult. Try to avoid getting too bogged down in figuring out every symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are many fine Christian people who disagree on the interpretation of this book. However, the main message of the book is clear: Jesus is revealed (that\u2019s what the word \u201crevelation\u201d means) as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ask yourself as you read about the seven churches discussed in this week\u2019s reading whether the problem areas that are pointed out in these churches could be areas that you need to work on in your own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
